When you take the time to dedicate a spot to practice, you can guarantee yourself a very transformational and powerful experience.

Take the time to fully warm up your body before you go into a yoga practice. Do not force or push yourself into a pose that you are not yet ready for. Remember, yoga is truly about the breath and being able to breath COMFORTABLY while in each pose. It is especially important to be mindful of areas such as the neck, spine hips and knees as these areas are very vulnerable and easily injured.

Your practice will, over time, teach you to surrender yourself more and more. You will learn to stop resisting and you will be able to easily apply this to daily living both on and off your mat. Practicing regularily is extremely beneficial for your body, mind and spirit. Take the time to set up a schedule that allow you to include your practice a few times a week (or more if you can fit it in).
